William "Bull" Halsey, James Cagney, &
Richard Montgomery
An original contract signed by US Navy Admiral William F. “Bull” Halsey, Commander of the South Pacific Fleet in WWII, actor and producer James Cagney, and director and producer Richard Montgomery. The contract is very likely for the 1960 film The Gallant Hours, produced by Cagney-Montgomery productions and in which Cagney played the role of Halsey in the film and Montgomery directed.
Frederick Remington
A letter written and signed by artist/sculptor Frederick Remington. It is written to longtime friend and industrialist Joel Waksman Burdick, whom he’s met at Yale and corresponded with for years and whom with whom he collaborated to invent a type of hospital stretcher.
Pietro Mascagni
Mignani, 1934. This is a 1934 first edition copy of the opera "Nerone" by composer Pietro Mascagni. The score is signed by the composer.
Richard Wagner
G.G. Harrap & Co., 1911. This is a 1911 copy of Tannhauser, an illustrated edition, translated to english by T.W. Rolleston and presented by Willy Pogany.
Charles E. Ives
Charles Ives, 1922. This is a first edition, second impression, of 114 Songs, a book of sheet music, by Charles Ives in its original blue cloth cover lettered in gilt. It has pp37-39 printed. Affixed to inside of the front cover is a 7x11 cm piece of paper with Ive's ink inscription, clipped from an unrelated item: "C. E. I. Christmas. 1929 164 East 74th St. NY." The first impression was only 500 copies, which Ives distributed privately.
Georgia O'Keefe

An Autographed Telegram signed by famed composer Richard Wagner. The letter, dated 1/29/1879, roughly translates to mean “I deny the Berlin Association under all circumstances.”
